as for making circles, use the shapes tool, and then go to your top left, where you can choose between 3 little squares, then select the one with a little pen inside the box.
after that make your shape, and it will make kinda like a path, then click with your right mouse button, and select, stroke, then choose, brush, then ok, it will stroke it, with the size of the brush you currently have
to change the size of the stroke, change the size and color of the brush ^^
